This is my brother Adam, I dont know why he is wearing the sombrero but it sure made me smile this morning when I opened my inbox it was great to find it waiting for me. Its really hilarious, it made me think back to this christmas and the Santa costume. But I love this pic not really because of the hat but because of the expression its priceless.
I got a calling card today and I was able to call Mom and Poppie but of course Adam didnt answer because he probably didnt recognize the number. Maybe Adam we should set up a time, I need a good brother induced laugh.
Anyways today was quite eventful, it was one of those days where everything clicked in its small way. Even though I was running late this morningor afternoon however you look at it, yeah I dont have class till 1:30pm but for some reason am always running to catch the bus. If I would just cut down my time in front of the mirror I think I would have enough time to actually make breakfast and make up my bed but I always change like 50 times because I just cant face the catwalk in to the classroom. Eventually I just give up and go with what am wearing.
Which brings me to the topic in class. Men and Corsets! Yes, men wore corsets, huh, you didnt know!
Ok so I really didnt know either but it was quite interesting when my tutor explained how mens dress through the centuries changed so drastically from highly decorated outfits to somber suits. Its sad if you thinks about it becasue men have hardly any variety in their dress, well compared to womens. But times are changing but I still dont see it becoming socially acceptable for men to wear skirts anytime soon. Remember when Beckham wore that sarong, yeah the media went crazy!
