This is a little experiment of mine to see how much I have actually changed in the past few months. Ok so longer hair, thats a given.. Am scared to get a haircut here, I guess Janet has spoiled me! You cant tell if I stil have a tan, in fact it looks like I didnt really have a tan to begin with, but I did.. and now Uh, yeah I dont! Other than that I think I look pretty much the same.. I feel pretty much the same other than the fact that I am no longer a 24 KID but a 25 ADULT!

So enough of pictures I thought I would post what I wrote for my segment in broadcast. Remeber we are doing a dog spin on Sex and the City so when you read this dont think of Carrie and Miranda as Humans but as dogs! Yeah it was harder to write than I thought it would be and really I dont think its too hot but what can you do.. I have a feeling Bella our broadcast producer will probably change it around alot!

It was the social event of the season and I needed to look my very best. Where did a girl go in a clothing crisis? Well Harrods of course. I don’t know if it’s the sparkle of the collars or the statuesque placing of the shoes on pedestals that make it feel as if I am in the midst of a religious experience every time I step onto the floor.
Miranda: Carrie didn’t you just buy a new pair of Jimmy Chew shoes last week. Why can’t you just wear those?
Carrie: Why? Miranda do I even have to explain that the main woman in fashion is coming to our side of the hill and I can not wear a pair of heels that I bought last week for a book signing.
Miranda: Didn’t you just complain that your DogAmex card had reached its limit?
Carrie: Has almost reached its limit I still have a little to play with.

Why it is that woman seem to lose all sense of reality when the feel of cashmere is placed between their paws. A sense of urgency over takes you and the feeling that you can not live without it causes you to throw all logic out the window.
At this moment as I swept pass all of the spring designs of my favorite designers, Gucci, Burberry,. When I saw them the shoes that every pup dreams of. They sat on a pedestal silently calling me to them. The Manolo Blahnik shoes in a rose color seemed to glow and vibrate with every step I made closer to them.
Carrie: Hello Lover
Miranda with an array of scarves in her paws looked over Carries shoulder to inspect the pair of shoes that have Carrie in a state of shock.
Miranda: Carrie don’t you already have those in red.
Carrie: Miranda if you happen to look a little closer you will see that this pair is quite different it has a delicate flower on the side of the shoe. The pair that I have is red and they have no flower.
Miranda: Well red is still nice why don’t you give your card a breather and just wear those.
Carrie: Because Miranda, if you happen to read your Dog Today magazine you would know that the color of the season is different shades of pink and I will not subject myself to being out of fashion at the reception. Besides cant you see that these babies want to come home with me. Look at how they are looking at me. Oh my god!
Miranda: What? What how much are they?
Carrie: No, No and it doesn’t matter. I have another very important matter I don’t have the right outfit to wear with them.
Miranda: See Carrie this is what happens when you come here. The lights cause you to lose all sense of self and all you can think about is what you don’t have.
Carrie: Stop being a wet dog and help me choose something.
Miranda: Do you remember why you invited me am supposed to be a buffer between you and debt.
Carrie: Oh yeah and thank you for that but I will no longer be needing your services. Feel free to gush with me over all of the beautiful things here, you know you want to!
Miranda: You told me you would say that and not to pay any mind to you.
Carrie: But look at these collars, they come in leopard, diamante, and you can even decide what you want it to spell.
Miranda: Now that is not fair you know how I have a weakness for collars. You
know how self conscious I am about my neck.
Carrie: Miranda what collar are you going to wear to the reception?

That was it I saw the look of a dog that refused to even look at clothes quickly change into the look of a dog that didn’t know where to look first.
Three hours, 4 pair of shoes, 2 Doggy Dior outfits and enough accessories to make the queen jealous later Miranda and I left Harrods. Stepping into Canine Cab I looked back and felt blessed that I lived in a city that let me shop until my heart was content or at least until I had maxed out my credit card.
Funny? Whatever!!
