"Does that Make Sense" The Jealous Sound

Now how did that happen? At around 4pm yesterday I found myself at Michiko Koshino (dont worry about pronounicing it correctly, i cant) with a calf skin jacket on my lap criss crossing wool through its holes, I guess you would have to see it to understand. But it was still quite fuzzy for me on how I got there by the time I got home. As a fashion student the best and most critical time to get work placement is this week and the next LONDON FASHION WEEK. Its the best time to hit up designers because they are in a frenzy to get collections together for the catwalk shows and hopefully by volunteering your time you can get tickets to go inside. Now is not the time to be shy, so when someone asked me if I wanted to go help, I was on the next tube. But of course it couldnt be the worst time, I have a job interview tomorrow, Lent starts wed, and am going back to Megan Park on friday..what they didnt need me last week when the most important thing for me to do was buy the new copy of Marie Claire ( for research purposes of course)!
But nonetheless I was glad I went tired and cold and definetly not wearing the best shoes for my long treck but am glad I went. Its a funny, great feeling to know that something that I worked on for four hours is going to grace the catwalk for a few seconds.
I wish I had my camera to let you all see what it all looks like, so let me just give you a few key words, cramped, hot, materials and papers everywhere...so chaos, I would like to say organized chaos but I have no idea. They didnt have enough room for me and the two other girls that went with me from LCF so we ended up in the office where all the PR and schmoozing was happening but I was content to work next to drawings.
I wish I could have gone back today but it just wasnt in the cards and I doubt I will even be able to go back this week, homework is piling up and if I dont get my butt in gear I will be putting a half-*** paper together and I am paying to much and depending to much on my grades to take my places to let that happen.

On a musical note: I am always looking for new music and I have stumbled across, well am sure many people know of them but I just happend to be browsing through my local music store and found their cd. I am not one for instrumental music but this is not your average soundtrack music it has a heartbeat all its own. So even if its not your thing I totally reccommend taking a moment to d/l a song, sit back and listen and then I know you will have to go buy the cd. Thanks to an awesome website you can d/l some audio tracks fromExplosions in the Sky ...
