"The Games that Play Us" - The Blackouts

Music is everywhere you go, on the radio, in department stores, your local market and even on television. In the beginning it was all about innovation and being rebellious but now it has become a money making business.Music has been swallowed up by money hungry music moguls and we are forced to listen to what they spit out. Truthfully, they are selling us more of an image than an actual sound ignoring the fact that people who go to the concerts and buy the cd's are not looking for the cookie cutter image. No the fact is image is secondary to the art of the music. Fans just don’t want any music. They want something that will last longer then the whole 3 min and 31 seconds its on. Alot of sites are popping up all over the web expressing their opinion of the muisc industry and helping others find ways of finding music that suits their tastes.
